Big freeze wipes out the league programme

SUNDAY League teams were once again left twiddling their thumbs for the second week in a row, when freezing temperatures forced all games off.
BRT Redditch and South Warwickshire Combination League fixtures — Premier Division: Athletico v Hizza Utd; South Redditch v Wychbold RBL; Church Hill v Bromsgrove General; Bartley Green Sunday v Studley Sporting; Black Horse v Austin Ex-Apps.
First Division: CBH Fasteners v FC Club; Webheath FC v Thomas Brothers.
Second Division: Park Athletic v Sporting Club Redditch; Millfield Rovers v Mayfly FC; Kingfisher v Redditch CC.
Third Division: Winyates Wanderers v Dagnell End Rovers; Woodland v Woodrow.
n In the Bromsgrove and District League, two games survived the bad weather.
The Premier Division game between Bromsgrove Town and La Coruna, finished with the latter coming away with a 2-0 win, thanks to second-half goals from Joe Naughton and Richard Birch.
In Division Two, Golden Lion Athletic Reserves won 7-2 at Arrow Valley, which was played on the 3G pitch in Studley.
