HEADLESS Cross under-sevens are improving with every game they play in the Central Warwickshire League.
The team have been testing their mettle against sides across Birmingham.
With the emphasis on individual skills as well as playing within a team, results have been mixed with as many wins as defeats.
The team are managed by Ceri Thomas and have had their kit provided by local funeral directors Thomas Brothers.
Meanwhile, under strength Redditch United under-13s put in a fine display despite losing 6-3 to Coleshill United.
With only 10 players, they battled hard with Curtis Allbright and Ciaran Killeen (2) scoring.
